Sessions

SATURDAY
  • Pick up your badge on Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. during the one-hour Reception.  Meet with friends, have a drink and make plans for dinner.  There is no group dinner scheduled.
SUNDAY
  • Pick up your registration materials before the General Session: Scientific Forum.
  • Associate members are invited to display tabletop exhibits in the meeting room during the General Session:  Scientific Forum on Sunday.  Contact Headquarters if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity.
  • The Associate Member Caucus will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday. Matters of interest to Associate members will be discussed. Associates will also select an “Other than Alcohol” Supplier representative to serve for the 2011 fiscal year.
  • The “Spouse Coffee” this year is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Kathy Cole, spouse of Mike Cole of Mizkan Americas and Chair of the VI Board, will host the coffee.
  • The General Session: Scientific Forum (open to all registered attendees, including spouses) begins at 9:00 a.m. Breakfast is on your own, though coffee will be provided.
  • A Deep Sea Fishing Excursion will depart the Resort at 12:30 p.m. for an enjoyable afternoon for the seasoned fisherman and the novice alike. Plan to have lunch beforehand.
  • Join everyone at the one-hour Reception at 6:30 p.m. There is no group dinner scheduled.
MONDAY
  • The Scientific Committee will convene on Monday for a Continental Breakfast and meeting at 7:00 a.m. to discuss issues brought up during the Forum or other scientific issues of interest to the vinegar industry.
  • The Board of Directors will meet after the Scientific Committee meeting at 9:30 a.m.
  • The VI Golf Tournament will be held at the Naples Grande Golf Club beginning at 12:00 p.m. Please meet in the Main Lobby at 11:30 a.m. if you are planning to take the VI transportation to the course.
  • Monday evening features another one-hour Reception at 6:30 p.m. There is no group dinner scheduled.
TUESDAY
  • Tuesday's activities begin with a Continental Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. The General Session runs from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
  • On Tuesday afternoon, depart the Main Lobby at 12:45 p.m. for a 2.25-mile walk on a raised boardwalk that takes visitors through several distinct habitats found within the 11,000-acre Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, including the largest remaining virgin bald cypress forest in North America. Plan to have lunch beforehand.
  • The perfect ending to a memorable meeting will be held on Tuesday evening starting at 6:30 p.m. Don’t forget to check this activity on the Registration Form and be sure to join us for a poolside “Beach Bash,“ featuring a Beach Boys-type band.
  • This year, we are offering the opportunity for our members to invite retired persons from their companies to attend the poolside “Beach Bash” dinner and reception to visit with old friends. There is a special registration fee ($165/person) for this event, so be sure to check the appropriate box on the registration form.
