Your tour will wander through the historic Gaslamp Quarter, originally developed in 1854. The heart of downtown San Diego complements the original buildings from the 1800’s that have been restored. Balboa Park will be highlighted with its many museums and galleries dating back to the 1915 Pan-American Exposition. To capture the true essence of this dynamic seaside city, you will board a large cruising boat to embark on a one-hour narrated tour of San Diego’s Big Bay, including Coronado, North Island Naval Air Station, the Embarcadero and Cabrillo National Park. Back on land, you will continue on to “Old Town” where you will have some free time to admire the unique shops. “America’s Finest City” is waiting to be discovered! Golf at Maderas Golf Club Monday, March 19 Rated the top Golf Course in San Diego County six consecutive years by the Zagat Survey, Maderas Golf Club offers beauty and challenge as it winds through the cliffs, rock outcroppings, creeks and forests of the inland hill country of north San Diego. Golf in San Diego has never been better! Step onto the first tee and enjoy the course’s three lakes, five waterfalls and over 40 acres of native wildflowers. Maderas Golf Club is the number one golf course in San Diego for a reason. For the men, the dress code is collared shirts (no t-shirts), long pants or Bermuda length shorts. No cutoffs, denim or swim trunks are allowed. For the women, dresses, skirts, slacks, golf shorts and blouses must be worn. Women may wear sleeveless shirts as long as they have a collar or collarless shirts as long as they have sleeves. Metal spikes are not allowed at the Maderas Golf Club. If you need rental clubs, it is imperative that you indicate this on the Registration Form as the golf club has limited sets available and may not be able to accommodate last minute requests. Sea World Behind the Scenes Tour Tuesday, March 20 This one-hour walking tour visits two behind-the-scenes animal areas not found on park maps! Locations may include the killer whale or dolphin training areas, avian care center, animal care center or behind-the-scenes of the Shark Encounter.
