MayVinegar Touted as "Food of the Week" - Cancer Research UK, a charity in the United Kingdom with a new "Fiver Day" campaign as part of their Reduce the Risk program, named vinegar as the "Food of the Week" for its "healing and cleansing, it also contains anti-cancer elements". A May 11 article in the Liverpool Echo, titled "Fit for Life: Fruit and Veg Target Missed", focused on the population in the United Kingdom missing the "five a day" mark for fruits and vegetables. According to the article, vinegar was used during that time to eliminate dandruff. One of the students, nine year old Nicole Haug, noted "It was weird how they did things in the old days.
